Michael A. Housten, PLS

As the Principal and Managing Member of AASA Survey, Mike brings extensive experience in the Lehigh Valley, Western New Jersey, and Pocono areas.

A licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Pennsylvania, Mike is an expert in land subdivision, development, and zoning. He specializes in farmland preservation surveys and currently serves Lehigh County.

With knowledge of local and state regulations, Mike frequently provides expert and professional testimony before numerous boards and courts.

Company History

Arthur A. Swallow Associates (AASA) was founded in April 1999 to provide Land Surveying and Development services to commercial, governmental and residential clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Principal and owner of the firm, Arthur A. Swallow, PLS, has extensive experience in the Lehigh Valley, Central & Northern New Jersey and Pocono areas.

In January 2017, AASA transformed into Arthur A. Swallow Associates, LLC. The change in structure was to ensure a succession in the firm and to bring Michael A. Housten, PLS into ownership to provide continued service and reliability to all of our valued clients.

As of July 1, 2021, AASA LLC has been solely owned by Michael A. Housten, PLS, with Arthur Swallow remaining on as an employee until he confirmed full retirement status in June 2023. Our staff remains the same and we continue to grow in size and capability to offer service to our clients both private and municipal in PA & NJ.
